Second Round:
March 17-18, 2011
Trying to get folks to vote for your book? Totally kosher.
Third Round:
March 19-20, 2011
Is your bracket shot to hell? Get ready for the 2nd Chance Bracket.
Fourth Round:
March 24-25, 2011
The competition gets intense at this point.
Fifth Round:
March 26-27, 2011
By this round, friendships are made… and long gone.
Final Four:
April 2 & 4, 2011

Dear Frack:
An example: in Round 1 of bracket – pick your fav either #1 or 16; 8 or 9; 5 & 12; 4 & 13 etc. Make selections from both sides of the bracket.
Round 2: IF 1, 8, 5, & 13 beat out their competition – the second round would be 1 vs 8 and 5 vs 13
The third round would pit the winners of round 2 against each other 1 vs 13 and thus we have a winner.

The idea of completing the brackets before the actual voting ie. guessing who will be the winner is like a contest – how many jelly beans are in the jar. I have not read the whole thing – but I think the winner gets a prize for guessing right.
As none of my favorite books from last year are on the list and have not read most of the books nominated, your guess is probably better than mine as to who will actually win.
If I’m following correctly on the tournament page, despite what it says on the schedule page, the First Round of Voting is actually taking place March 16 & 17th, which makes the Second Round on March 18 & 19th, and the Third Round on March 20 & 21st. Is the schedule after that still accurate? Is the Fourth Round still going to be on March 24th & 25th, with the Fifth Round on March 26 & 27, and the Finals on April 2 & 4, or will they also all move up a day? Thanks.
