Congratulations to the overall winner, Larissa, and the other bracket winners too. But am I the only one who finds it a little odd that there’s no prize (not even a mention) for the one who took second place in the overall competition, Jane Seville? Shouldn’t there at least be a name-check here, and a mention of her book?

Many thanks to all those who made the voting possible and of course to those offering prizes. This was a fun idea with some surprising results. I hope we get to do this again next year.

In addition to all the congratulations being offered (Kudos to the winner of it all, Larissa Ione!), I also think it’s appropriate to congratulate Jane Seville, author of Zero at the Bone, second place winner. Zero is a magnificently-written thriller with a compelling male/male romance woven in; I find it significant that a m/m book made it to the finals. It says something about the author’s talent and her memorable characters, but also about the genre itself.

Larrisa the news has been spread with emails!! I agree with Shawna I so wish we could vote more than once. Ecstasy Unveiled is excellent – the whole series is a drool worthy, panting, sighing series! I cannot wait for Sin Undone!

Jane, it ain’t over til it’s over! You have an AMAZING following and super-supportive readers…as you know. I’m thrilled that a gay romance made it this far. Now, if we could get it recognized by big romance publications and contests…that would be awesome.
