  • Nominations open for readers to select the last book in each category.

Bracket Sunday
March 17, 2013

  • Pick your brackets, and start trash talking!

First Four Voting Rounds (64 books):
March 21-22, 2013
Voting takes place on the DABWAHA blog.

Second Round (32 books):
March 23-24, 2013
Trying to get folks to vote for your book? Totally kosher.

Is your bracket shot to hell? Get ready for the 2nd Chance Bracket.

Second Chance Tourney Begins: 25 March 2013

Third Round (Sweet Sixteen):
March 28-29, 2013

Fourth Round (Elite Eight):

March 30-31, 2013

  3. I am not happy with your screening. I live in the same house as my sister. Both of us want or are voting in the contest, but my vote is being discounted based on the wifi address. You need to come up with a different way of screening who has voted.

  4. Hey Anita thanks for the feedback. We have only three ways to limit polling.

    1) no restrictions
    2) by cookie
    3) by cookie and IP

    The latter is the most restrictive but one that we thought was the most fair. We have had complaints when we did cookie only that it was too easy to vote repetitively.

  5. What are the requirements for the second chance bracket? Can you still make one even if the regular bracket is still surviving (but probably going to die in the next round)?

  6. Wonderful data, numerous thanks towards author. It is incomprehensible to me now, but in basic, the usefulness and significance is overwhelming. Thanks yet again and fine luck!
